Our Mission Statement

innerMotivation is dedicated to serving individuals and learning institutions in achieving their potential so that their own  goals may be dramatically fulfilled in ways that benefit the world-at-large.

  A Paradigm Shift

Our work is predicated upon the belief in the dignity, respectworthiness and innate merit of those who strive to improve their lives: teachers and learners.

Learning has historically been posited on the notion that students are empty vessels, and that teachers must "fill them up with their wisdom." The modern "mega" institution has also been seen to be ineffective in reaching the unique learning styles of individual students--or of providing meaningful staff development to teachers in these schools and school districts. Modern teaching and learning,  in even the most heralded reform movements in our largest cities, have not really changed very much, as graduation rates and teacher job satisfaction continue to erode.

innerMotivation is a pathway for individuals and groups, artists, professional athletes, sports teams, businesses and schools to become fully actualized in their work while achieving greater satisfaction and accomplishment.

"Watching people win after helping them find their innermost, inborn potential, is the most satisfying outcome of this work."

As school head, school founder and teacher, W J has dedicated his career to helping people and organizations--schools, businesses, professional athletes and sports teams---achieve their full potential.

He is a graduate of Harvard University, New York University,  Trinity College and The Roxbury Latin School
